My blog is a place of sharing, but sometimes this has been put on hold one too many times because everything wasn't quite perfect. I find blogging is a fine balance of planning and spontaneity, but recently I've just put the stoppers on creativity.
There's very few guys that can talk about grooming with confidence (spoiler: I'm not one of them). I'm wanting to learn more about what we can use for our hair and skin and that starts now.
Details are paramount for myself. Where trousers break on my shoes, how loose a jacket hangs off my shoulders and more recently, the use of the tuck-in to complete my outfit.
Style rules are fading quicker than you can keep up with them. Dress codes and expectations in menswear are changing, none more so than trousers, the menswear staple.
It's my most used style of bag. Yes there are days that require something a bit bigger on wheels, but the tote bag style is my unbeaten favourite.
First off, here’s a little bit of disclosure… I don’t even own a coffee table. But I feel ‘coffee table books’ sums up what type of book it is. Still with me? You know, the ones that look great in your room, undeniably pretentious and remain reserved for days where you have that spare hour away from your phone.
I have a real feeling of content with my wardrobe. There is nothing I'm looking to immediately add and I'm avoiding the feeling like I need to keep up. Let's keep it that way.
Days at home don’t have to be mundane. There are a number of little things we can enjoy from the comfort of our own space. As a work from home guy I’m inside an awful lot, so I’ve got a few things to help me tick over while I’m working or when having some down time in the evenings.

Sometimes it's good to just step out wearing simple reliable pieces that you feel at ease in and forget about intricate layers and technical details... for once.
Airport attire has to be comfortable, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. On the rooftop before check-out, I share my departures outfit which offers up some small styling differences to upgrade this on the surface normal look.
Sometimes, briefs are there for interpretation. It's interesting to see where and how far they can take you. Welcome to Copenhagen.
An uninspired sigh as I open my curtains. Grey skies and dark by 3pm. This year I'm deciding to ignore the weather and do my best to keep creating.
I’m writing this in between the Christmas and New Year lull. Nobody seems to know what to do other than eat, drink and sleep. I found it fitting to have a couple loungewear hours with a tea nearby to reflect on what a great year it’s been.
This year I really wanted to champion the independents. With a lot of help from my very talented friend and illustrator Robin Mackey, I’ve highlighted a few gifts from some of the coolest independents in the country just in time for Christmas.
Slow down and take in what's around you on your daily commute and travels. You'll be surprised by what you can find when you look close enough.
Travelling into the city has become a regular occurrence and although I don't live in London, I'm starting to learn why people enjoy it so much. One reason being the freedom of personal style.
The start of December marks the annual push of Shop Small. I'm continuing to work with American Express to highlights some of my favourites at home in Leicester.
My alarm goes off at 8.30am and my day begins. Every morning I aim to be behind my desk by 9am to slowly wind myself up for a day of work. As a freelancer, my routine (or lack of) differs to most.
Could 2023 be the ultimate year of sustainability for fashion? Probably not, but there are some positive things happening if you look for them.
