Outfit post: Summer vibes and Topman Shorts

Sometimes the British summer can be disappointing, so while out in Turin it was finally a good chance to test out some summer pieces

Shorts replace your denim jeans, sandals replace your shoes and we go from long to short sleeve shirts in the summer. I've always preferred dressing for the colder months as I feel you can do a lot more in terms of layering and mixing up your outfit, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything at all in the summer.

I'm working with Topman to share with you their summer offering. I always head into Topman when it comes to picking up essentials and basics and will be one of the first places I go to when looking for shorts and other summer items. I chose this short sleeve shirt which has a smart element to it and slight thickness to it than standard shirts, meaning it's still good to wear in the evenings. I then tend to keep my shorts

fairly simple so I opted for a slim fitting pair of denim acid wash shorts. There's loads of options at Topman this season, from different lengths, prints, material to short for more formal occasions.

I managed to layer my outfit slightly by mixing up the lengths of my base t-shirt and shirt which is one way you can mix up your summer style. How do you change your outfits for the summer?
